At Benfleet Scrap, we’ve been called out to collect everything from rusted-out Fords to half-finished projects, and January’s when the calls really start coming in.
Most people ask the same thing: “Will you actually come and get it? And how much is this going to cost me?”
Here’s the truth, plain and simple. If you’re local, we’ll collect your car for free. Doesn’t matter if it’s got flat tyres, missing keys, or hasn’t started since the last World Cup.
We’ve got the gear and the patience.
Unless your car’s buried behind a wall or halfway up a tree, you won’t see a bill from us.
If there’s ever a rare situation where collection is tricky or you’re out of town, we’ll tell you right off - no hidden nonsense.
When we show up, you don’t need to worry about the paperwork.
We’ll help you sort the DVLA bits, and if you’ve lost the logbook, don’t sweat it - it happens all the time.
We’ll get the car loaded, and you’ll have your driveway back before you know it.
Some people even say goodbye to their old motor (we get it - cars can feel like part of the family).
