Alternatively, if you can no longer drive your car, get in touch and we can collect it at no additional cost. 

Once we have received or collected your car to be scrapped, we will issue payment as agreed. 

You will receive your Certificate of Destruction (CoD) once your car has been scrapped – Benfleet Scrap will notify the DVLA on your behalf.

What vehicles do we accept?

Benfleet Scrap Co accepts any make or model of car and van. Large, small, MOT failures, insurance write-offs – we can scrap them all at our Basildon depot with the minimum of hassle and fuss.

About Basildon

Situated 32 miles east of Central London, Basildon is the largest town in the borough of Basildon, Essex. First referenced in the Domesday Book as 'Belesduna' in 1086, the town started off as a small village and has also been known as Berdlesdon and Batlesdon. 

In 1948, Basildon was officially designated one of eight 'New Towns' in the South East of England. This New Town incorporated the villages of Basildon, Laindon, Vange and Pitsea and went through a new phase of development in order to accommodate the London overspill following World War II.
